Yes, we are all distracted from the truth. Modern life with all its amenities convolutes our vision. Meanwhile the Earth is dying. Greedy and gluttonous individuals continue to pile up weapons and dollars at the expense of the multitudes. Our society is teetering ever closer to fascism. Orwellian nightmares are coming to fruition and life is becoming the cheapest commodity in the world. Fortunately the people still have power, westernized countries are not yet allowed to throw citizens they don't agree with into a van and torture them. Unfortunately the U.S. may throw any resident alien it wants into a van and torture them. This being a result of recent legislation denying non-citizens a writ of Habeus Corpus (a trial) if the executive branch deems them a threat. Let’s act before it’s really too late.
